The first 3 months of the program saw AWLQ Community Vet Clinic supporting an incredible number of dogs needing emergency or urgent vet care in instances where their families were not able to afford the critical care and it was at risk of surrender.
This balanced approach provides them with the best of both worlds, maximizing nutritional benefits while making dinner time even more enjoyable.
SavourLife and the Petbarn Foundation set ourselves a goal at the start of Rescue Month – to help 40 of our rescue partners save 400 pups from pounds. Rescue Month is crucial as it highlights the diverse range of pups – big, small, young, old, purebred, and perfect mutts – who face euthanasia at pounds across the country through no fault of their own.
We have partnered with Animal Welfare League Queensland’s (AWLQ) Community Vet Clinics (CVCs) to offer a targeted support fund for essential veterinary care to vulnerable pet owners in need.
Thanks to your support we have been able to donate these funds to our incredible rescue partners in an effort to save more lives, find more homes and create lasting change.
We recently got an update from the team after a very long journey transporting two newly adopted Dingoes to their new home at the Billabong Sanctuary in North Queensland.

We have awarded a grant of $50,000 to Forever Friends Animal Rescue to a set up of a kennel facility to save more lives especially helping staffies and larger dog breeds who are often left behind.
We have awarded an $8,000 Buddy's Grant to Little Legs Dog & Cat Rescue to support their Retiree Program helping their most vulnerable animals who, due to severe health issues, advanced age, or challenging behaviours, are deemed unsuitable for rehoming.
